If an athlete has no opponent in their registered division during the official **Cancellation & Refund Request Period**, the athlete may choose one of the following options:
1. Remain in the registered division and be declared the **Champion by Default**
2. Request a division change
3. Cancel participation and request a refund

## ～ IMPORTANT NOTICE ～
Even if an athlete currently has no opponent, another athlete may be added to the division before the official Cancellation & Refund Request Period.
Therefore, **refund requests cannot be submitted before the designated cancellation and refund period.**
• If no request is submitted by the designated deadline, the athlete will automatically be declared the **Champion by Default** and will no longer be eligible for a refund.
• Intentional or abusive last-minute division changes made for the purpose of obtaining a refund will not be accepted.
• Please register only if you are able to participate on the competition date.
※ Changes to an athlete’s personal schedule are **not considered valid grounds for a refund.**
• Registration in a **Weight Division is mandatory**. Athletes wishing to participate in an **Open Weight / Absolute Division** must pay an additional entry fee.
If an athlete is registered in both a Weight Division and an Open Weight Division during the Cancellation & Refund Request Period, but has no opponent in only one of those divisions, cancellation may be requested only for the unmatched division.
In such cases, refunds will be limited to the **additional participation fee only**.
The basic Weight Division registration fee is non-refundable.

• Weight Division has an opponent / Open Weight has no opponent
→ Only the additional Open Weight entry fee will be refunded.
• Open Weight has an opponent / Weight Division has no opponent
→ Likewise, only the additional fee difference will be refunded.
• Registration fees cannot be carried over to another competition or transferred to another athlete.

# 【 AWARD CEREMONY RULES 】
All athletes must comply with the following requirements.
• Athletes must wear the **same type of competition uniform worn during their match** when attending the award ceremony.
※ GI Division: Gi with belt
※ NO-GI Division: Rashguard and shorts or other approved NO-GI uniform
• Personal items such as banners and national flags are permitted during official photography.
• Medals will be awarded **only during the official award ceremony on the day of the competition**. Medals cannot be shipped or collected at a later date.
• World Championship title winners will wear the **Championship Belt** during the official award ceremony.
After the ceremony, winners may take individual profile photos at the designated studio.
※ The Championship Belt must be returned after the photo session.
• Junior and belt-level Open Weight World Championship divisions will be conducted in **Lightweight and Middleweight categories**.
• Winners of individual Weight Divisions will receive a **Weight Division Champion Certificate**.
※ The official **WORLD CHAMPION title applies exclusively to designated Open Weight World Championship divisions.**
# 【 ELIGIBILITY & PARTICIPATION RESTRICTIONS 】
Athletes meeting any of the following conditions **may not compete in the White Belt / Beginner Division:**
• Judo Black Belt holders
• Athletes with professional MMA fight experience
• Athletes with an official amateur MMA fight record
• Athletes with previous wrestling experience, including Freestyle, Greco-Roman, or similar wrestling disciplines
※ Eligibility will be determined based on official domestic and international competition records, including competition websites and relevant databases.
In addition, Kids athletes holding **Grey, Yellow, Orange, or Green Belts may not compete as White Belts in either Juvenile or Adult divisions.**
# 【 IMPORTANT COMPETITION INFORMATION 】
• The official weight measurement unit for this competition is **kilograms (kg).**
• Providing false information regarding date of birth, belt rank, academy/team affiliation, or other registration information may result in **immediate disqualification** and possible restrictions from future DAJJC competitions.
• All athletes must bring a **government-issued photo ID** on competition day and may be required to present it before competing.
• All athletes must be affiliated with a **Black Belt instructor. Unaffiliated athletes are not permitted to compete.**
• DAJJC reserves the right to verify an athlete’s academy/team affiliation and may deny participation if the affiliation cannot be verified.
• Athletes are advised to arrange flights and accommodation after completing registration.
• This competition will be conducted according to the **IBJJF Rulebook and Guidelines.**

# 【 VISA · INVITATION LETTER · OFFICIAL INFORMATION 】
## ■ VISA INFORMATION
According to the **Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea (MOFA)**, participants traveling to Korea for short-term sporting events may apply for an appropriate short-term visa permitting a stay of up to 90 days, depending on nationality and individual circumstances.
Nationals eligible for visa-free entry may enter the Republic of Korea without obtaining a visa, subject to applicable Korean immigration requirements.

## ■ OFFICIAL INVITATION LETTER
An official invitation letter may be issued **upon individual request only to athletes who have completed their competition registration.**
The invitation letter is intended to confirm the purpose of travel to the Republic of Korea and participation in the competition.
**Issuance of an invitation letter does NOT guarantee visa approval.**

• DAJJC **does not issue Guarantee Letters.**
• The athlete is solely responsible for the visa application and its outcome.
• Additional documents may be required depending on the Korean Embassy or Consulate processing the application.

Even if an athlete currently has no opponent, another athlete may be added to the division before the official Cancellation & Refund Request Period.
Therefore, **refund requests cannot be submitted before the designated cancellation and refund period.**
• If no request is submitted by the designated deadline, the athlete will automatically be declared the **Champion by Default** and will no longer be eligible for a refund.
• Intentional or abusive last-minute division changes made for the purpose of obtaining a refund will not be accepted.
• Please register only if you are able to participate on the competition date.
※ Changes to an athlete’s personal schedule are **not considered valid grounds for a refund.**
• Registration in a **Weight Division is mandatory**. Athletes wishing to participate in an **Open Weight / Absolute Division** must pay an additional entry fee.
If an athlete is registered in both a Weight Division and an Open Weight Division during the Cancellation & Refund Request Period, but has no opponent in only one of those divisions, cancellation may be requested only for the unmatched division.
In such cases, refunds will be limited to the **additional participation fee only**.
The basic Weight Division registration fee is non-refundable.

# 【 AWARD CEREMONY RULES 】
All athletes must comply with the following requirements.
• Athletes must wear the **same type of competition uniform worn during their match** when attending the award ceremony.
※ GI Division: Gi with belt
※ NO-GI Division: Rashguard and shorts or other approved NO-GI uniform
• Personal items such as banners and national flags are permitted during official photography.
• Medals will be awarded **only during the official award ceremony on the day of the competition**. Medals cannot be shipped or collected at a later date.
• World Championship title winners will wear the **Championship Belt** during the official award ceremony.
After the ceremony, winners may take individual profile photos at the designated studio.
