(Insurance Requirement & Injury Policy)

Prior to registering for the DAJJC WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, I acknowledge that I have fully read, understood, and agree to the following:

1. Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand that this event is a combat sports competition and that injuries or accidents may occur during participation.

I acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with competition and all related activities, including weigh-ins, preparation, waiting periods, and award ceremonies.

2. Insurance Requirement

I understand that I am responsible for obtaining personal medical insurance (or equivalent coverage) to cover any injuries or accidents that may occur during participation in the event.

In the event of lack of insurance coverage or insufficient policy limits, I agree not to hold the organizer responsible for any resulting damages or medical expenses.

3. Injury Response and Limitation of Responsibility

In the event of an injury during the competition, the organizer will provide on-site first aid and, if necessary, assist with emergency transportation.

Any subsequent medical treatment, medical expenses, or insurance claims shall be the sole responsibility of the participant.

I agree not to hold the organizer legally liable for injuries sustained during the competition, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

4. Minor Participants

For minor participants, a legal guardian confirms that they have fully understood and agreed to the above terms and accept the same conditions on behalf of the minor.
